Disclosures

1. Purpose of this notice

This notice explains what the MetalAlert service does, what it does not do, and the limitations you should keep in mind when using it. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with marketing material, this notice and the Terms prevail.

2. What MetalAlert is

MetalAlert produces calibrated probability estimates for the chance that the average price of certain London Metal Exchange metals over a future month will be at least 2%, 5% or 10% higher or lower than the current month's average, over one- and three-month horizons. It also provides supporting price charts, a public log of model changes tested, and historical information about how the models have performed.

It is an information and decision-support tool for procurement, sourcing, supply-chain and treasury professionals. It is intended to be used alongside your own analysis, commercial judgement, hedging strategy and professional advisers, not instead of them.

3. Not investment or financial advice

The service and all content it provides are for general informational purposes only. They:

Before making any purchasing, hedging, or financial decision you should consider obtaining advice from an appropriately authorised or qualified professional.

4. Not a benchmark, index, or research report

The probability estimates and track-record statistics are not a financial benchmark or index and are not intended to be used as a reference price, settlement price, or benchmark for any financial instrument or contract. The explanatory summaries are not investment research or a research report and are not prepared in accordance with any legal requirements designed to promote the independence of investment research.

5. No reliance: your decisions remain yours

You are solely responsible for any decision you take and for any resulting outcome. A probability is not a forecast of what will happen and not a guarantee. A "70%" estimate means the modelled event is expected not to occur roughly three times in ten; a low probability event can still occur. Do not treat an alert as an instruction to act, and do not present MetalAlert content to third parties (for example finance teams, suppliers, or counterparties) as advice, a recommendation, or a guaranteed outcome.

6. How the estimates are produced, and their limits

Estimates are generated by machine-learning models trained on historical market and macroeconomic data. Key limitations include:

7. Data sources and their limits

The service relies on price and reference data from third-party providers and exchanges. That data may contain errors or gaps, may be delayed, revised, or withdrawn, and is used subject to the providers' own terms. Prices shown are end-of-day settlement-type values, not live or executable prices, and may differ from prices available to you. We do not independently verify all third-party data and are not responsible for it.

8. Forward-looking information

All probability estimates are forward-looking statements about an uncertain future. They involve assumptions, known and unknown risks, and factors beyond anyone's control, including macroeconomic conditions, policy and regulatory changes, supply and demand shocks, market disruption, and geopolitical events. Actual outcomes may differ materially and unpredictably from any estimate.

9. No warranty of accuracy

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose. See the "Disclaimers" section of the Terms of Service.

10. Conflicts of interest

[State the actual position and keep it current.] MetalAlert is a subscription software service. We do not act as a broker, dealer, or trading venue and do not execute transactions for customers. [State whether MetalAlert, its group, or its personnel hold or trade positions in the metals covered, or have any commercial relationship with data providers or others that could reasonably be seen as a conflict, and how any such conflict is managed.]

11. Jurisdiction and intended audience
